We wanted to share with you the story behind the story and hope you are pleased with the quality of our restoration prints as a wonderful addition to your personal or corporate sports collection.
In December of 2000, our company was invited to a yearly Christmas party where we were introduced to Bob and Pam Koehler. Bob was a well-known local baseball historian, memorabilia collector and dealer who had co-authored a book with Rex Hamann called “The American Association Milwaukee Brewers. When he found out that our company specialized in digital restoration he wanted to discuss a potential project.
Several weeks later, we met at his home in Elm Grove and after sharing many personal stories about baseball he mentioned that he had lawfully obtained hundreds of photos of the Milwaukee Braves as a dealer. Most of the images he had obtained over the years had many visual flaws. Despite their numerous flaws, he had been marketing his collection of 8x10 prints to collectors around the world.
On March 8, 2001, Bob and our company entered into a collaborative agreement whereby we would digitally restore each image in his collection. We would provide Bob with a digital archive file for each restored image, providing him with a greatly improved image that he could continue to market.
In exchange for spending over 7 months of work, scanning, restoring, and archiving over 500 photos, our company was granted the digital copyright to each image restored. In addition, we created 4 thematic digital volumes; The Construction of Milwaukee County Stadium, The 1957 World Series, the 1958 World Series, and Up Close & Personal.
Upon completion, we presented several copies to Johnny Logan and the Milwaukee Braves Historical Society, and our local PBS station for their yearly fund raisers. Bob passed away in May of 2008 and we continue sharing this amazing collection in his memory.

If you prefer to exchange an item from your current order for a different item of equal price, size and media, this form helps to specify the item(s) you intend to return, and the item(s) you would like in exchange.
